Ripple personnel were helpful in arranging the installation; called several times to confirm. Installers (Jonathan Smith and another technician) arrived about 2:30 pm for a 1:00 pm appointment. However, they had phoned to say they were running late so no problem. Both were mindful about neatness (shoe covers, cleaning up any debris). They explained everything about what they were doing, when to expect the cable to be buried, etc. They made sure the service was connected and working to our satisfaction before they left. Answered all of our questions. Excellent work!

I have no idea what happened here. But basically the man that was supposed to be attending to getting their service at my residence. Roger. Has effectively blown me off 8 times. The only update he could give me if he decided to answer the phone, was “I have a meeting in 30 minutes with my boss’ and then I’ll have an answer” this was the same update 5 times. What a wild experience. Basically from my perspective in the amount of time I’ve spent {attempting to get an install apt scheduled for internet at my residence}, and answer to the question “what’s the plan?” Over 3 weeks. Has exceeded the value of time taken away from work and other activities. Waiting for in the end nothing. Resulting in the savings I would have had from switching from spectrum to ripple to do this to begin with irrelevant. 1star. Posting on google was the required thing to get a response from a person willing to spend more than a few words. Understandably it was not able to get done for a week or so, but time and plans were able made and honored. Changed to 5 star. It’s done, works great, the installer was great too.

I recently had Catjacks come out to help me reorganize my network and computer setup. All my gear was in my study on a table but with all my home automation gear on top of the usual stuff, it was getting pretty messy. I reached out to Darius at Catjacks and he put together a great plan to bring order to chaos. The new system moved everything into a server rack in my study closet. Router, master power switch, battery backup, 24 TB NAS drive, 18 port high-speed switch, patch panel, etc. In addition Darius added two access points so I have great wifi coverage and I have several hard-wired connections around the house as well. Overall it is a great setup, looks great, and has excellent performance. I have also plenty of room to grow the system in the future. They also did some additional work, installing my Frame TV (hidden wiring and power) adding an air antenna, and moving the wiring from a pair of in-ceiling speakers to add a Sonos Amp in the server rack. Darius/Catjacks were awesome to work with. I was really impressed with the time that was spent on planning everything before the work began. Watching Darius move through the house with his VR headset figuring out the best way to rout the wiring and how to position components to minimize wifi interference, etc. He thoroughly understood the situation before making a cut. Everything done by the Catjacks team was done in a professional manner, great care was taken of my house, and they left things clean and neat when they left. Any follow-up questions I had were easily answered with a phone call. I highly recommend Darius and Catjacks for any cabling or home IT needs. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

There are many different Lumos offices, but I recently had to call because I was getting solicitations from T-Mobile for a $70 a month two gig plan that lasts for 5 to 10 years. I first called T-Mobile and they’re quite useless. I figured this out easily enough that T-Mobile is partnering with Lumos but you could still buy the same services from Lumos directly so I asked Lumos representative Mike that I spoke to yesterday and he was the most helpful nicest guy and I continue with Lumos getting the same plan that I would’ve been with T-Mobile with a lot less hassle so I have to tell you don’t be fooled by this stick with Lumos. Tell them what you need. Tell them what plans you’re matching and they’ll do it and thanks again to Mike.
